I've seen Honda turbo kits sell for $3000+, and they only claim like 240 hp. Now for 5000, I could make a stroker with somewhere around 400rwhp. Naturally aspirated.

Besides, not every Honda needs a swap. Where the heck do you think they get the engines from in the first place?

Anything that requires an engine swap is slow, period. I dont mean to rant, but it bothers me when people try telling me how "fast" hondas and acuras are, when every "fast" honda or acura they mention has an engine swap. It really is lame.

It will shut down at 4psi. With out proper fuel it will detenate & with out proper managment the ECU will shut everyhting down at the boost cut (4psi). & LS motors are rather weak internally stock.. Not D-series weak.. but defenatly weaker then its VTEC counterparts

One of the clowns is putting a T7 turbo on his stock,smoking billion mile Integtra just to outrun his buddies S/C'd Mustang.He's so good with Hondas he's not gonna bother with changing injectors or a tune,or even a intercooler for that matter.He says his stock motor will hold 15-20 psi no problem[sm=lol.gif].This is the kind of crap I have to deal with everyday.I just want to be around the first time he stands on it to see if his connecting rods outrun his car,that is if his weak *** LS motor can even spin the turbo fast enough to do anything.BTW a 700hp Civic is friggin sick!!!!!!!! But I wouldn't want it either.

and like snake said, there ARE fast Honda's out there. own by enthusiasts, and not the next door neighbors son whos 16 and who's a ricer. big difference. the majority of the time, Honda's are slow. ive driven some quick ones. VERY quick ones. but, still......

Now people question Honda kills and talk about how H22 Blah,blah,blah will kill a Mustang.The S/S section it seems is quickly becoming a Mustang hate fest and a love fest for everything else.Trust me,I know there are fast Hondas out there,and I can respect them,but I see a hell of alot more of the slow side of things,I work with a few honda folks,and they talk all this junk about B16 this,JDM that,and going to the street races and beating this that and the other.Well the sad fact of the matter is my fuggin slowbalt will kill every one of them,and I hardly consider it a fast car.But I do realize these guys are ricers,not tuners,BIG DIFFERENCE.I'm pretty much surrounded by them,so I just keep my mouth shut and try not to laugh when they start talking crap,trust me sometimes it's hard.

I'm not gonna tell him that,he can figure that out on his own.[&:] He's borrowing all the turbo stuff[except the turbo] from another guy who just tried to put a T3/T4 on his '00 Si,but he didn't bother to get his car tuned either,he couldn't build anymore than a couple pounds of boost with his,and fugged his car up so he took it off.He kept saying his wastegate was bad,but what you said about the ECU shutting down was probably it.
