I don't feel like I'm argueing. Just stating facts and experiences as did he. Maybe the Si near him isn't performing like me. After all, he is in the mile high state.

2000si you sound like a whiny little kid, have you ever even owned a car (or truck) with a 350 (or anyV8). You should know that they respond very very well to light mods. It's fine that you don't beleve him, I for one do. Did you stop to think that maybe it was'nt really an SI that he played with, I mean more than one Honda owner has put an SI badge on a non SI car.

Who's whining JD? sounds to me more like you're whining about me calling BS on it. Suddenly I'm not allowed to have an opinion about a car I've had for the past 10 months.

I've never owned a 46 hundred pound truck from 1973, no. But what the **** does that have to do with ANYTHING?

I don't believe I ever said it couldn't be modded, & I never said it couldn't be fast. I just said that I don't believe that as he flew by him after dropping his 4 speed to 3rd gear that the Si was even trying at that point. Hell you're partially right, it could not have even been an Si. But that would just mean he was assuming what it was and decided it was so that he could make his truck sound faster than it really is. Now if an import owner did something like that, I believe the word ricer would be used at some point in time. hmm...

After all beating a stock 17.5 second Civic EX by a car length means your car is pretty slow itself. But if you beat a 15 second Si you have a formidable truck.

Please JD, don't get on my *** unless you really want to make a decent point behind your side of the debate. What I have owned has nothing to do with anything, and it just doesn't matter.

Well, it does. I couldn't imagine what it was like to drive a high powered car, until I actually did. It's far different that what you're used to. Torque feels nice.

I have never heard of Si's breaking 16's stock.

I hear about manual Accords getting into high 14's and low 15's with 5 speeds & automatics.

I've wasted some body kitted Si in my Dads Titan.

Yeah, I pulled on a 99 Si with a body kit and 17" rims.... in my stock Si. funny isn't it? and I've never heard of an Si dipping above 15s.

2000si, I thought we were through arguing, guess not. He WAS racing me, I dropped a gear after he did and still caught his pos AND put three cars on him from 60 to 107. I don't know if it was a "REAL" si, just had the badges and looked different than the other more boxy civics I C everyday. My truck is faster than a si, i've played around with it and know for a fact that my stump pulling, rice eating 350 can make a stock vtec shut up pretty quick. I'm not bashing anybody, the cubes tell the story whether you like it or not, it happened and its over. Wish I was in my cobra instead but that would have been more than three car lengths and not worth posting.

If a stock si runs in the 15's and the car I was racing was an si, I better head up to Bandimere, cause I have one fast a$$ pick-em-up truck.

wait... what?

I'm sorry I just don't believe a 73 350 is going to be a high 14 second monster with the few mods you have. I wasn't argueing until you spat forth that bull**** about rice eating blah blah.
