Please JD, don't get on my *** unless you really want to make a decent point behind your side of the debate. What I have owned has nothing to do with anything, and it just doesn't matter.
Heres the point, you get all up in arms when sombody says somthing bad about Hondas, you say yourself you are here to stop the misinformation about them and that is fine, most of here do not know that much about Hondas. But do YOU know much about Chevy small blocks? I do, and the package on that truck looks to be the Edelbrock performer package, which is a very well matched combo, it has been designed to produce good torque in the mid to low rpm range right were it needs to be in order to make a a heavy car/truck perform well. You also do not know the gearing of the truck, but if it tops out around 107mph as he said, I am led to think it is a pretty low (high numeric) gear, which means it will accelerate pretty well

I've never owned a 46 hundred pound truck from 1973, no. But what the **** does that have to do with ANYTHING?
It has everthing to do with it, you are bashing on a guy, who posted a good kill, yet you have no expierence with the type of car/truck he has, how would you know what it is capible of? You sit here and quote all these times that you get out of magazines and from the internet, yet you have no real world expierence. I am not trying to bash on you or your car but a N/A Civic is not much from a roll.
In closing I would like to say that are V8 turds out there and there are import turds out there, maybe this civic was a turd, and the truck was not, it's pointless to argue anyways because we will never anything about the civic, let the guy have his kill. You have no way to prove it did'nt happen, it sounds beliveable to me, now if he had said he pulled like 10 cars on him then I would call BS also.

I didn't get up in arms, that was you. I simply stated that I don't believe the Si was truly trying, that's if it was even a true Si. How is that me getting all up in arms? Oh wait it's not, this turned out exactly how I thought it was going to turn out. One person or another will go head to head with me and it ended up with me being cornered and put under scrutiny for having a ****ing opinion and not just taking his word for it. If I drove a Stang, would you seriously be getting pissy with me about this?

Also, when did I ever bash on the guy? Thats right I didn't. You're making up **** to argue about. Please stop making me out to be the bad guy when all I did was not just blindly follow his story like we're reading the bible. Christ JD, you should know better than to pick something more pointless like this to bitch and whine about.

If he did kill him, then he has the kill, what the **** does he care about what I think? it's still pointless.

Yes I would get pissy if you owned a stang and were saying the same thing. The guy is a new here and this is nice way to welcome him, it's a wonder people even come on here anymore.

1. this is a mustang site, not a chevy truck site
2. so he drops a gear, pulls and then lets off as you drop it and fly by him. I guess he just wanted to copy you and your ricerflyby.
3. I had some old *** chevy truck drop a gear on me, I dropped to third, hit 60 and vtec and pulled right by him. end of 3rd i had him by i dunno, 4 cars?

There's NO way in hell your truck with a carb/IM/fuel pump and cam pulled on an Si that was trying.
Looks to me like you came out with both guns blazing here, saying he did a ricer fly by and all. And why are YOU of all people saynig
"1. This is a mustang site", you own a Honda for crists sake, at least this dude has a Stang.
