Really because I am pretty sure the VR4 was only a high 13 second car stock.

My dad had a VR4 back in 1991, and that car was amazingly fast. As mentioned it was only a 5spd (6spd must have come later). My dad never lost a race in that thing. We would race Porsche's, Trans Ams, Mustangs, Camaros, Vettes....you name it and he raced it and won. Those cars are sick fast! They did 0-60 in 5 seconds flat and the 1/4 in a low 13.
The SL is a joke......I annihilated one with my modded Focus ZX3 years back.

I can't stand how some people think by defending a car your a fanboy. There's nothing more annoying than fanboys that call everyone else fanboys, when in all actuality they're the fanboy. Do some research and stop thinking that you own a supercar. You own a mustang, not an Enzo Ferrari.

and urs its auto .. if u win its not gonna by much but if he a good driver ur gone.. i have a 93 model base wich is 3219 lbs and i have beaten plenty of 01 gts just to warn you..
If I recall, the 3000Gt is a tank, coming in at @3800lbs. At 220hp, they're not going anywhere fast.
He says, stock, with only fart cans he can beat me. Keep in mind mine's an auto. What do you all think? Has anyone gone up against a 3000 before?
