If its rounded then its a late 90's stock turbo'd. 190 hp, not awd. It would be a good race for a stock 5.0, Not even close for a modded one. Thats assuming the eclipse is stock.

My friend has a 1g GSX with a few mods and is pushing mid to high 13's in the 1/4.

It depends... the 1st gen has a 6 bolt motor all that means is its build a little stronger with better parts. if its a second gen its not as quick especially if its a gst which is front wheel drive if its a gsx the all wheel drive u might have a tough competition if your sure hes only running 7 psi which stock i think they run around 10 psi. my advice... dont run for money because he probably has you beat with the car lets just hope your a better driver.

I have 3.73 gears in a heavier 1988 auto convertable and ran a 14.9. if you have a aod I would suggest leaving it in D not O/D or some one else told me how to shift it all the aod manuly but I would be scared to do this. I belive stock they run like 14.5 so if you have 3.73 gears it would be close for a hardtop. also practice launching at diff rpms at the track or with one of those g-force things.

How many times do I have to say they push 14 psi stock??I would know I used to have one..Yes the 2nd gen is the 7bolt 4g63. And no the 1st gen isn't faster look it up the 2nd gen is about a second faster 0-60 and quarter mile. Sooo 210hp and 215 tourqe stock with full exhaust (on a turbo car)...
Perhaps you could beat him I know it was a bitch to find the perfect launch point most people either bog and have to wait for the turbo to respool (which won't take to long with the factory t-25) or they either spin like crazy and have wheel hop..
So I think his car is probably faster but it will come down to the drivers..
There is not point keeping this going the only way to really know who will win is by doing it.
