The fact that he went into 5th around 1200' tells me he left some mph on the table.

To hit high 11's you will start breaking stuff. Awesome runs!!! unless you want to spend money on some axles and a diff, I would say stay happy with 1.7's or higher on the 60' and see what you can get like that.

EDIT
At 108 I think you are only low 12's. My friend ran 12.2@109 and he drives like a freak, has a 86 notch with MT slicks and he launches from 5K without wheel-spin. I dont think your car will out-launch his and his mph is a little higher than yours. You ran a 12.6 with a 1.9 and I dont see you going much below 1.7, even if you are okay with snapping things, that equates to about a 12.2.
I left soo much on the table @ the track. Seriously, I launched the same way as on the video every time.. got between a 1.9 - 2.1 on all my passes, and this was on a slipping clutch where I couldnt launch at all. I was rolling into my launches a bit to keep from roasting either the tires or the clutch and basicaly bogged every time. With a stiffer clutch I could definatly launch for much better times.... tweak my shocks for the drag setting (set in the middle right now) and I could really bite hard.

Also I was shifting into 5th at atleast the 1200' mark. Looks earlier than that in the video and on hte other video I have of a 12.9 run that went on for 5 min... Between short shifting/clunky shifting since I just got hte car, and the long search for 5th gear and over 100' in it.. I lost quitea bit of MPH and with out a doubt some time on the clock..

Not making any excuses.. for my 3rd day owning the car, getting in it and pulling a 12.6 made me extremely happy [8D] I just need to work and get used to the thing and probably get a new clutch before I go again. Something will snap sometime at the strip I'm sure, but thats the way it goes.. when it does, I'll replace it with something that wont do it the next time [&:]

Videos are all working now... and my 12.6 and 13.1 runs are up. Not going to bother uploading the other ones. Lol
