Ah, thank you stanger, I was feeling lonely for a minute. Also, I would pee on someone else's mustang and light it on fire for a 2002 Black bird edition T/A.
Bah, LS1 is LS1 is LS1...you get what, a lid with the blackbird ? Just buy a WS6 and mod it, there ya go

380hp, that is just like the 375hp package SLP offers...its exhaust and a lid and that raises the fwhp to 375 because they rate it ACCURATELY...so its 25-30hp more than normal, that blackbird you listed is heavily modded and the blackbird package doesnt matter. A regular blackbird is just lid/exhaust.

with all respectto lt1/ls1 the ford 4.6 281ci motor is more impressive..imo the lt1/ls1 have alot more cubes and even with all the power on and off over ford no 1 was buyin the camaros, firebirds even if they had more power....thats why they did away with the camaro gettin desperate and and gettin all the hype to bring it back...hopin evey chebby owner will buy one...pound for pound i like the power the lil 281/302 has...and the potential is sweet....

A 3 valve is not a drivers race against an LS1. 3600lb 260rwhp 3 valve vs 3400lb 300rwhp LS1.

+1

We need to go by "what is the cars potential". So far I have heard of a F-body running a 12.9. To my knowledge forum member Doodad has ran a 13.4x in his S197. Whatever the case there are far more occurances of a F-body running low 13's than S197's. So I would have to think the F-bods are faster.

10 pts for anyone who can recall what this thread was originally about without hitting the page 1 button.

Just someone please explain to me why, in a forum full of guys who have modded their rides to hell and back, do we continue to end up in "stock for stock" discussions?

Sorry for the brief rant.........but all the arguments in this section have been looking alike to me these last couple of weeks. I must be getting old again.[8D]
