heres my 2 cents. raced a new eclipse gt on the interstate and raped the dude about 4 times. i am not impressed. and its fugly

 

that is not what i am doing, if you would read the previous. you guys just dont wanna admit it.

 

you claim that your 13.80 car will beat a car, that even in its SLOWEST form, runs 13.20s...tommyv8 has the slowest combination for an LS1, and hes in the 13.20s stock.

im not disputing that youre car is impressive for an NA V6, but its just that...impressive for an NA V6.

 

Ok.......I'll do it. 06Eclipse dude......tell ya what. I'll yank my s/c off this weekend, put the stock intake manifold back on along with my stock tune and we'll line up. Unless you got a bottle hiding in that car of yours.........you have zero chance. It's just simple math and physics. I can appreciate that you are finding somepretty lame duck F-body and Mustang drivers (some REALLY lame ones actually).....but I wouldn't use the outcomes of those races to gauge yourself against the field. Cuz I can tell you that any decently driven LS1 powered car, Mach 1, or 05+ GT will walk by you every time.

As far as your 13.8 time, I have to tell ya........my research hasn't turned up ANY new Eclipses running close to that without additional mods (nitrous, t/c, s/c, drag radials and weight reduction, etc.). So I'll go out on a limb here and guess that you have the ultimate 06 factory freak???

And posting vids of "other" ppls modified cars is the ultimate lame tactic. No body CARES what other ppl have accomplished with their Eclipses. THEY didn't run your races and then post the results. Any of us could easily find as many vids of F-bodies or mustangs running waaaay faster than that. Would it prove anything to you? Nope. Posting vids of other cars like yours (but not yours) will catch you on fire on this forum.

and is the only 6 pit all motorengine that can ever have the prestige of saying they slaughter LS1's with just a few bolt on's

for the price.... the 3.8 MIVEC is VERY impressive.... I love the idea of the high output V6 making 3 more BHP than a99-04 GTand only about 30-40 lessft. lbs.tq. You people don't realise the fact of an ALL MOTOR V6.... you guys say they are slow as *****..... your running a V8 boasting the advantage of torque beyond comprehension... yeahit's gonne be slow...

I did not come here to make fun of you ! i am a huge fan of any ford product. i read a post from a while ago and noone really answerd it so i did.

 

Well dude, I'll just say this. Stick around if you wish. You'll find a wide variety of car owners in here (domestic and import) and we do like taking shots at each other. Alot of ppl will likely find your inital kill claims a stretch....but oh well. If you actually won those races, it's no skin off your back if some ppl in here don't believe you. For the most part ppl in here keep the BS to a minimum.....and there are lots of ppl who will tell it to you straight. If you can handle that.......welcome to the MF Street/Strip club. I'll say this though, you'll learn alot hanging around this section long enough. As someone who's only been in the car hobby for a couple of years now, I can tell you that I have.[8D]

 

the BS flinging gets so bad here, you will keep a camera riding shotgun 24/7.... when I had the stang cannon was always chilling in my cupholder [8D]

but don't do that..... because then they call BS even more on account of not racing
