Be careful of the powerstrokes and cummins truck also. The powerstroke that we have is a pretty peppy little truck.
I've taken 2v mustangs and Elty camaros with my Banks equipped F250 powa- stroke with 6" lift and 35" tires.[8D]

Gotta watch out for those SVT Lightnings, my step brother has one that runs 12.8 in the quarter. Don't know what he has done to it since I don't see him very often but I saw his latest slip this past weekend and sure enough it was 12.8 and some change.

Depending on which review you read...it's a driver's race between a Dodge Ram SRT10 and a 05+ Mustang GT. The 05+ Mustang GT should pretty much always beat the F150 Lightning.
Stock maybe, but I rarely see stock Lightnings these days..

Obviously wasn't a Syclone. That'd be the only S10 that I'd be weary of racing. Unless it was blatently modified, like a 350 powered S10.

I never take trucks lightly. There was a power stroke F250at Cecil that must have had a hard on for imports. He'd line up with hondas, subies and VW's let them leave first then run them down. Dude was running 12 flat at 115 to 117. It was nasty to watch that thing belch black smoke then kill just about everything at the track.[sm=badbadbad.gif]

Those diesels are nasty with just a few mods and a tune. As for the SRT-10 and the Lightnings keeping all that power hooked up is hard off the line. There is no weight in the back of the trucks so they need to baby them off the line. But then i guess the same could be said for the modded diesels. i think we should just all agree to not take trucks lightly.
