On my way to work this morning- pull up to a 01' bullit at a stop light. didnt look at the guy, was just tired and on my way to work. i look over and it seems like he wants to go. i turn off t/c and the light goes green- were about even through first gear, and then i pull on him through second and continue through third- had about 2-3 cars maybe a little more. he seemed like a good driver, perfect shifts everytime and chirped through 2nd. let off at around 110 (dont worry there were no cars around, for all you about to flame me) cool guy, gave him thumbs up and now im at work- if your on this sight, let me know man- nice run! just thought id share my mid morning excitment, thanks for reading

 

so your a stock auto 05 gt. nice kill, what do stock 05's usally run in the 1/4 mile

 

mid 13's is usually the average time for stock 05's

 

mid 13's ?????? ... i thought that mid 13's was good for a stick car.. a auto runs in the 14's does it not

 

Well I'm not an expert on the new GT's , but I think they come with a 5 speed auto tranny...Still slower than a manual,but in no way the desparity the new edge auto/manual Gt's had...

I would say a high 13 on average...

 

technically an auto can go mid 13s to high 13s, but most of the ones i see (again, phoenix isnt a good place) go between 14.4-15.0 for the auto

 

i didnt know the name of the post was- what are the 1/4 times for the 05 mustang- lol
