In an old 4Wheel & Off-Road article they took an 01 Ram 24V 5.9 rated at 245Hp/505TQ and made 511RWHP and 1052RWTQ after they were done. Parts: Edge Module, Stage 3 Injectors, 4" Exhaust,Bigger Turbo, Upgraded fuel lines/pump, Clutch upgrade, Cold air intake. The parts total $5000, and the truck was a 6speed 4X4.

 

And it weighs about 6000 lbs? +- I say the truck smokes the tires and then can't catch up.

 

i dont know my friend has a chevy duramax with a fass fuel system 4in exaust an ATS aurora 3000 turbo and a shift kit we havent raced yet but i think his truck would beat ay bolt on gt out there so he might have you

 

the truck is 4 wheel drive he wont smoke the tires that long and they are also truck tires its not like spinning little 17" wheels with normal tires on it all my friends drive cummins and with a bigger turbo, injector, exhaust, and a chip that truck will scoot. it will be a good race you have weight and aerodynamics on your side.

ummmmm depends, I was beaten on a track by a Chev 4X4 diesel........he ran 12.15.......I think it was slightly modified

 

those turbo diesels can run mid 12's all day long. They are fast as hell for such huge trucks. Just imagine putting one of those engines in an S197. That would be intersting.

 

I'm dieing for Ford to put something like a 7.0 Liter corvette engine in a S197, that'd be sick.
