Ok, my friend got all pissed off after I raped his dads 2007 Dodge Ram 1500(by the time the race was over, I couldn't see him in my mirrors). Now he's trying to buy 1997 Dodge Ram 2500Cummins Diesel.
The mods are Stage 2 turbos and Stage 2 injectors.
Now, the guy he's buying from only wants $7500 for it, so I think somethings either broken, or heavily mileaged.

I've got a 2000 GT Auto with K&N CAI, C&L Plenum, Shift Programmed, and possibly 4.10 gears (by the time we race).

Will he give me a run for my money?



P.S. Even if he wins, I'm still the bigger man, he's 21-unemployed, no college education, and still living with his mom.

 

If the truck is in proper running order, I'm gonna say he'll give youa hell of a run for your money.....

 

Id say he would have you. Those mods on that diesel are pretty good...

 

Just found out it's a Turbo V6 Longbed.

 

Those trucks have inline-6's, not V6's. 5.9 literI-6 to be exact.

 

I wouldn't be too worried.

 

What exactlydo stage 2 turbos & injectors do for this truck you speak of?

That is....our 4.2L I-6 makes 275hp/275trq n/a stock... That thing might move out pretty well.

 

I'd say that you will have him. Do not be surprised if he has not disappeared in your mirrors. Let us know when you smoke him. If you lose, you at least are the bigger man as you said.
