Default Fly Bye'd by a '65 Stang Inline 6 3speed

So I am driving home from work yesterday and I pull up next to a beater'65 in line six Mustang. The driver, about 17 with a 4 foot Afro, looks me over like he's Mr. Toughguy. He rev's it up and waits for the light to change.

Once the light changes he dumps the clutch (a 3spd trans) and takes off. I really can't believe this just happened so catch up and hold 2nd gear at like 40mph. I look over athim andhe looks at me with this crazed"we're racing" look...so I just punch it and take off and leave football fields on this guy.

I slowed down and start drivingthe speed limit. I look in the rear view and can see this guy closing fast. He creeps up on very close to my bumper, quickly pulls the next lane, and does a fly by giving me a thumb’s down.

We get caught at the next light and he's sitting there laughing. I contemplate getting out the car and kicking his *** fortailgating me...

I roll my window down and the kid says something like "dude don't know you got owned? Those new mustangs are slow...they can't hang withreal muscle cars!!!!"

So he revs up his six banger, the light turns green and he drops the clutch, the tires barely chirpand of he goes again.

Ricers are not the world's only idiots.

Im sorry did you call us classic owners idiots? I wold admit you had an unfortunate run in with a kid, but at least he had the guts to lose. I find it kind of funny that he took the time to race you even though he definately knew he would lose, a lot of people on here would not do that (I just saw whole thread about being afraid of imports and accepting defeat). I think the kid got what he intended a rise out of you.

All I am trying to say is maybe he is not such an idiot minus the tailgating (that pisses me off to).

The kid was a ricer. And tailgating FTL...nothing like looking in the mirror to see someone driving so close that you can figure out the color of their eyes.

I think you are taking the post the wrong way. Idiot = tail gating, thumbs down fly by, thinking that he drives afast car and telling me that I got owned. In this case don't confuse his supposedguts with ignorance. Kinda like the ricers that drive a stock 4 banger with fart can and momo steering wheel thatthink they drive a race car.

You shoulda just smoked him fron the light and left him so far behind that he could never catch up. I do that so that if a retard does a fly-by, it's so long after I left them behind that there's no doubt as to who won

I just throw a brick out the window while I am in front...that way when they are vacuuming the glass off their car seat there is no doubt in their mind who was winning...
