You can, that's why a lot of people buy them. That, and as I said, they're really high quality in terms of constuction materials and methods, and fitment, etc. But if you have an older Z that's already out of warranty, you have to decide whether less power is worth more money. And on a car that doesn't respond to mods terribly well, most people want the most power possible out of every mod, lol.....
