93-97 was the LT1s. I think in the 93-94 they had 275hp and 95-97 had 285hp. Someone correct me if im wrong. 98-02 LS1 had 290-300+rwhp. I dont know what the LT1 rwhp.
The TA/Z28
93-95 275
96-97 285
98-99 305
00-02 310

How can a GM owner/fan not know this? [8D]

I think he was referring to real hp numbers, not the fake imaginary ones GM uses. [8D]

I think with what he has he would be hard pressed to beat an LT1. I dynoed stock with 10 HP less then he has. cat back and intake would put me right up where he is in Power. Then it's a drivers race.

There's more to making a good dragstrip car than just horsepower: gearing, tranny, weight, suspension, tires, etc.

Exactly... Like the saying goes. What does a 500hp supra, a 700HP supra and a 1000HP supra all have in common? They all run 13's.

I beat up LT1's non stop with measily 4.10 gears and a MAM, I'm pretty sure I could still outrun them 100% stock.

I've never seen a stock LT1 break 13.8

thats fine for you... But does every mustang with your mods run the same time as you? My friends V6 can run all over 5.0 and older 4.6 GT. but does that mean that all 3.8's can? nope.

I never had a problem with any Mustangs with my LT1 car. Especially fav oh's. That thing ran like a raped ape.
