I got a light w/ a silver trans am (not the WS6) ...anyway light go's green it was really wet in the middle of the intersection so I knew I was gonna b spinning like a b!tch...either way we both just roll of and hit it!...immediatly I put half a car on him but then what I thought was gonna happen happened spinning a TON'S of wheel hop[:@] I was F***** wheelhopping so bad I couldnt believe it first gear while I"m hopping like a kid w/ 2 much energy he's neck and neck w/ me I shift into second put half a car on him but all of a sudden my car starts 2 wheel hop all over again I hit 3'd and thats when I start walking away ...at the end of 4th gear at about 115mph I had about 1 1/-2 carlengths on him and thats when I shut down...

I kno I could have ate him off the line if it werent for wheel hop issues..and I'm pretty sure his trans am was an auto and it sounded stock...how much hp do they have???...it was deff. was of the last models they made

Was it a round front bumper or a pointy front bumper...

Sounds like if you weren't wheel hopping so bad you would have waxed him. My buddy has a LT1 TA and I mop up the floor with him. You could give a poor LS1 driver a run for his money.

 

how much hp does the LT1 and LS1 have??....I've raced an SS and had him about a car length back...traction was not an issue that day I raced the SS...I raped him off the line tires were biting real good and no wheel hop it was in the summer last year..

yea the only reason I knew it wasnt a WS6 is b/c it didnt have the WS6 badging...and I kno nothing about GM's

 

93-97 was the LT1s. I think in the 93-94 they had 275hp and 95-97 had 285hp. Someone correct me if im wrong. 98-02 LS1 had 290-300+rwhp. I dont know what the LT1 rwhp.

 

LT1 rwhp is usually in the 250-60 range stock.
