I have never seen one at the track but have heard mid 12s for a stock GTR isn't uncommon, so if the guy can really drive thats probably what you can expect.
nah they are low 13 sec cars stock. The place where they are ****ing deadly is the road course. They will RAPE cars with twice the power in the twisties, and with a few k in mods they are just vicious in any form of racing.

I think Skylines are way overpriced for the performance they come with from the factory

they are rare, so they are turned into god like cars, because of the lack of experiance with them. i mean the mustang can go both ways, it can be a POS or a monster. same with alot of cars. but since the skyline is something people usually only talk about and see in retarded movies... then its placed in a different light.

its a nice handling low 13 sec car (depending on they type) and im sure with the correct configuration alot of cars could be on the same level as it, in the drag and the twisties. look at the NISMO 350z... that thing is amazing. any factory five kit car could prolly do better than it for cheaper. you have very nice evo's, the z06 corvette is amazing. the supra is a nice piece of work.

im not saying its not an exilent car, its just funny how its held in a different status as almost every other car, yet very few people in the us deal with it

It's like you said, because you never see them here. They're more rare than most exotic cars. My buddy lives in New Zealand, and he linked me to some of his Autotrader ads there and there are THOUSANDS of Skylines there. They're seriously just as common, if not more so, than Civics. That car is still cool over there, it just doesn't have that legendary status like it does here.

The Skyline is well-known for good reason btw. I remember reading that it pretty much dominated all of the road racing circuits it entered. It is not designed to be a straight line car, just like the STI / EVO isn't.

Laughing my *** off! Yeah, some magazine ran a test between the Z06 and Skyline (almost same price). And the Z06 was a lot faster, a better handler, and was cheaper I believe. Not sure on the cheaper part/it's close either way. Plus the Vette is an 8 cylinder and doesn't sound like a noisy suzuki motorcycle.
