Tommy it was a stick because just as I got next to him I heard him down shift. I have seen the slips, I believe the times but today made me really see in person how much potential those cars have with maybe a head and cam swap they would be monstrous.

Mach 1's are nicer cars over all. If you want raw power though, go LSX. 400whp is just cam/boltons away. 400whp form a mach takes a tad more.

I am only opening a few disbelievers eyes. I never really belived how fast the LS1s could be with only a few basic bolt-ons, call it denial, call it hope(for ford), call it what ever you will, but after today I am a firm believer in the LS1.

LOL man thatsa serious ball swingin statement, who's disbelievin anything, everyone knows how fast the ls1 can be n/a, in all honesty, if you have to choose between the ls1 and a mach, you make a good decision no matter what, like that guy above said, 4:10s on the mach might open your eyes too, i no how fast they both are stock, i had a choice between both when i bought mine. please dont act like u had an phenominal re-birth of knowledge from jesus himself, its a car, its fast, everyone knows that except you untill the light shinned from over the mountain top! down through your bones, and now it is up to YOU! to open the eyes of a few disbelievers and spread the ls1 gospel around the world

can i get a AMEN!?

im jk man, we already knew this

Well you go ahead and getan ls1, but dontgo cryingwhen you start seeing mach's that'll give you a run for your money with 1/3 of the miles, and 10x the sex appeal... Ls1's are fast, but you'd think that withthat large of a displacement difference they'd be able to put quite a bit more distance on me!

Been over this a million times...but way to stay unbiased in this situation.

BTW you can pick up an LS1 for 5~6K if you look hard enough...last time I looked it will be a LONG time before Machs come down enough in price for your statement to be valid. It's a rare car compared to the number of LS1 powered F-Bodys made total.
