Default 94 S/C

I just typed this out and I went to post and somehow it got deleted.
I was heading home from work about a week ago so forgive if I'm not as detailed. I jumped off 95S cause of traffic and got on Backlick Rd. Coming down to a stop light, I'm downshifting to save my hears from the pig squels my rear brakes emit when used but not hot. While coming to a stoplight I downshifted next to a 94 Mustang with the 95 Cobra R rims, non polished. I really didn't pay much attention to him until his lane creeped up and he was next to me and threw a rev. Most of the time I'll just giggle on go on my way. Having a 5.0 before I know the stock and even basic bolt on 94 and 95s aren't all that fast. (Sorry guys, not trying to insult here as I do love the Mustangs). But when he revved that supercharger whine was heard. Hmmm, a worthy opponent. Being that its traffic I'm not about to go outta my way and wreack havoc just to race this guy. The light turns green and I let space develop to the car in front of me. I'm maintaining 45 in a 55 and he is slightly behind me doine the same. We get about a good distance to the cars in front of us, when I hear him drop a gear and come up to about my door, I drop to 3rd. You would think we had a sixth sense with each other cause we both hit it at the EXACT same time. You hear his exhaust open up as his blower starts whistling. Turbo lag kicks my ***. I didn't drop to 2nd for two reasons, first off I wouldnt' have been in it long enough to make it useful and second my 3rd gear synchros are shot so by the time I would have been able to grab third he would have put on county on me. So by the time my Defi boost gauge sweeps past 1.5 bar he is a half car ahead but not pulling anymore. At that point all hell broke lose, my boost gauge continues to swing past 1.5 and continues past 2.0 with my warning light flashing and begging me to stop. My right foot says no along with my ego. With the extra .5bar a puff of black smoke shoots from my exhaust and I make up my 1/2 car deficet. 4th is grabbed and the turbo is in fool spool and I distance myself by a car or so. He may have shifted a little after I was in 4th. At 5500 rpm my burps and another puff of black smoke shoots out. If felt like the car pulled timing or something, with that and us closing in on traffic we both shut it down. We stay in traffic for a bit longer and catch another light. We both roll down our windows and the first thing he says to me is, "Dude you shot a flame that scared the **** outta me, you're car is quick, I was not expecting that!" I say thanks and I got a fuel problem that I have to adjust. I also tell him I was gonna play until I heard his blower. He said he installed it about 2 weeks prior and just got it tuned so he was out playing with it. He then said if we catch a light he would like to go then, I agreed. So I adjusted my afc to add a little fuel at higher rpm and check my boost gauge to see what I had hit. EEEKK!!! 2.1bar!!!! I quickly add 1% more fuel across the board. We cruise for the next 2mi or so and never get a light were we are at front, he ends up turning off a little while later giving a friends honk and wave as I do the same.
Really nice guy, early 20s. I hope to see him around here again some time, I'd like to see his car.
My mods are mbc, upper i/c, battery relocated, aem intake, ported o2, turbo back straight pipe, 700cc, 255lph, 272/272cams, adj cam gears, arp headstuds, metal hg and a heavy right foot. This was the first time I had really gotten on my car for a period of time with the boost up. I was quite surprised. After my tune I had turned the boost down, but that day being nice I wanted to turn it up and see what she would do.
Can someone help me here, I'm trying to load my dyno sheet so you all don't think I'm bsing, but I keep gettin the message sayin its too large. Its only 25KB. WTF!

not to say your bsing, but you were running 30 lbs of boost and you couldnt beat a sc 94? hmm 30# of boost will thrash your block unless you have a man o war block or equal. you seriously should have raped him like he wasnted even moving if you have 2.1 bar of turbo power. sorry just find this to be kinda hard to believe.

30psi is out of the effeciency range of the 16g. Above 26psi if i'm not on race gas, the turbo is producing heat. The car will actually make more power at 26psi on pump gas than it would at 30psi on pump gas. I was tuned on 110octane so thats why the boost was that high, I just haven't turned it down. I also started out not in boost too.
I also have ARP headstuds and a multi layer metal hg. The stock block has produced 550+whp so it will hold up.
I probably should have beaten him by more, but I didn't. My buddies 99 S/C gt hangs right with me from a 60mph roll and at higher speeds pulls away from me slightly.
