Launching in 2nd would likely:
A) Bog the motor down
B) Abuse the clutch

I'd stick with first.

 

if you are thinkin about launchin in second it means two things

1. you're drunk
2.your gearing is wrong for your application

 

no i wasent think of doing it he just told me to try it which i didnt becasue i have never heard of anyone doing it , thats why i asked on here.

 

I wouldn't try it either, especially on a sticky track. Good way to smoke a clutch, or at least set it back a few thousand miles. Mine will light 'em up on the street leaving in second (tried it once or twice), but the track would prolly be devastating. Trylowering your RPMor feathering the clutch in 1st instead.
