that's because they're awd. so they can launch at higher rpm's without worrying about breaking the tires loose, but from a roll rwd/fwd will accelerate faster than an awd. SO... if you're gonna race an evo do it from a roll

Here's a video of me running my buddy's fully built EVO 8, this car has a built 2.0L stroker motor, and a gt37r turbo(67mm for those who don't know) He was running on his lowest boost setting 22PSI and the car makes about 450whp in this trim. My car is an 06 mustang GT with a 67mm turbo. On this night I was running 10PSI and my car makes about 470rwhp/520rwtq at this boost level. In the video you can see how I first pull very hard on a bolt on 03 Cobra and can just barely hang with the evo. This evo has ran 11.70 @ 126 with this setup on low boost. EVOs can be made to be wicked quick. Enjoy.

Thanks for the info.. I thought you were trying to claim it was stock. I still love GTPs...almost had one for a DD but bought my G6 instead...(stupid POS decision that was)..
