Mach1 vs. C4 Vette
ORIGINAL: Draven
Eh, I was making conversation. I didn't even say you were cocky. I was just giving some information about C4s, because you seemed to lump them all into one catagory. It would be like me saying all 4.6L mustangs blow. Obviously, there are LOTS of different types of Mustangs, including the Cobras and Mach1s and everything else.
I didn't even get into 450hp/450tq Callaway TT Corvettes or ZR1s either. My comments were more to defend the era of car, not at all to imply you'd lost for any other reason than your car was faster than the C4 you raced.
And that LT4, assuming he how to select components in a system, should be closer to a flat 12 second car if not faster, provided a good driver. Hell, running an L98, I will be somewhere at or below 12.5 with only a heads / cam / intake / exhaust / tune package.
sidewayz4.6 - Bone stock, sure. With a tq, gears and tires, I've seen LT1s go 12.9s. If I can find that video again, I will.
procs2v - Well, again, bone stock, sure. 12.99 might be out of the question. But then again, I'd like to see Mach1s be bone stock and do it. It's pretty close both ways (IMO).
Again, I'm not trying to argue, just debate. : ) Drivetrain mods do wonders for the Vette, and I'm here to learn about what mods make big differences for the Mustang. : )

Last time Erik (sidewayz) ran his car it went 11.9. I suggest you go here, www.summitracing.com and buy some ET streets and a nitrous kit capable of over 150hp. Then give it a try.
Damn that is a good run. I can see both sides of the story here a lot of things get taken out of context here. Believe me I know. We are all just pissing in the wind. If you ask me we could all learn a little something from Draven.(sounds like a hell of a guy)Nice rims too like the black it is a good color.
I wasnt talking about you saying i was cocky i was talking about Sidewayz4.6 telling me that i didnt need to be cocky with a "stock"car. Wich, looking at his picture for his avatar, he seems to have a GT. And depending on his mods...i might be able out run him in my Mach1 w/ my mods. Not starting a fight just stating a possibility...dont blow a Gasket over there Sidewayz4.6.
