I leave for a week and stock F-bodys are running mid 12s and an S197 is running 12s....WTF... lay off the crack people...
13.3x is the fastest S197 anyone can prove (without cheater mods)
12.8x is the fastest Fbody anyone can prove (without cheater mods)...

FWIW Slicks/DRs are NOT STOCK. So a Modded Fbody went 12.6x....nothing new.

This I agree with!! Now if driver A is driving the S197 & driver b is driving a LS1, it's a drivers race. That's what I've been getting at! It depends on the driver. So to say a LS1 will always walk a S197 is being too much of a fanboy. That's why I was saying people are nuthugging on the LS1.
Now saying a LS1 will always walk a SN95 would be more of a fact rather than opinion

Hell no it wouldn't. As a long time Corvette guy, Ilearned to respect the Cobra when they first hit the streets. When I say it's the Cobras race to to lose, i'm basically saying that the Cobra has to make an error in order to give the LS1 a chance. The truth is,if driver (B) can pull a 13.4-13.6 in an S197then driver (B)should be able to pull a 13.2-13.4 in an LS1...and if driver (B) had an 03-04 Cobra..they should be able to pull a 12.8-13.0 Translation..one car is simply faster than the other. Good and bad drivers can make those numbers look better or worse, making it an drivers race byskill mismatch.

Why do you guys always need to bring my slow sn95 into these arguments[:@][:@][:@]
(I am pretty sure my sn95 could beat a stock ls1, so all sn95's can beat stock ls1's[8D])
