Drag Racing
Dont drive threw the water box, drive around it. Dont do a burn out, only spin your tires for a second to clean them off. If you get smoke, you spun them too long.

Starting line technique varies with track condition. From leaving at 3000 rpm at part throttle and feathering the clutch for
30' while slowly rolling into the throttle to 4000 rpm full throttle leaves with a "quick lift" on the clutch.
There isnt as much difference as you would think. I can cut 2.05's on the slickest of tracks butthe
best I have everdone on realstreet tirees in this car is 1.89....
The advice of just bring it up to 2000 rpm and do an "Accelerated Street Launch" like you need to get ahead
of the other car to make a turn and are trying not to squeel tires is likely the best starting point.
Adjust from their based on whether you spin or bog.
Go up and watch a couple of cars stage and launch before you do.
Pay particular attention to where thePrestage and Stage Photo Sensors are across the track.
Thats where your front tires are supposed to be. (Dont be the Dufus who stages with the REAR Tires!).
Light the Prestage bulb and then wait on the other car to light his before you pull into the second beam.
Its bad manners to fully stage before the other guy prestages. If he is already prestaged you can go ahead
and fully stage.
Be ready!Get eveything except you rpm where you want them and ease into that second beam as shallowly as possible.
Make sure you are not going to roll back slightly though. If your tire leaves the stage beam for any reason it will redlight
you. As soon as your in bring the rpm where you want themthe tree can start down in anything form 0.5 to 3.0 seconds.
The shallower you are in the second beam the more "headstart" you get before you roll out. This will result in a quicker ET.

^^ You're gonna get the poor guy laughed at if he pulls up even with the tree...
