I ran a CTS-V with traction control on because I was still learning the car. I wasn't aware that the traction control actually robbed you on hard driving like it does. This is the first performance car I've had with traction control. I raced him after a 2 months of owning the car.......and I wasn't able to drive it hard for 1 of those months since I had a new flywheel/clutch installed. So I was getting used to the new setup, and wasn't aware of the whole traction control thing till people on this site brought it to my attention!

I'm willing to bet any amount of money that the second you buy any car your an f'n expert! You learn things through process of elimination, and from others wisdom. Apparently you think your a f'n genious about cars, and know all there is to know!

Springs do help with weight transfer, as do full length subframe connectors! I guess working at Steeda taught me nothing!

As for shifting, shift points.....it's kind of hard to prove your good at that. Only a video will show that.

Finally, just because I beat a CTS-V, does NOT mean he's a bad driver! I'm so tired of haters like you, jumping in every thread anyone makes of a decent kill, spouting off at the mouth about how it's luck, or the other driver must have sucked! For a mustang owner you really don't have much faith in your car!

Usually when someone has nothing better to do than find fault with others it's because they have an inferiority complex. Yours seems to come through clear as day through your posts. Buck up, life's not that bad champ

Are your BBK springs just lowering springs or drag springs?

And go find me some examples of the bolded part, please!

Explain to me how a 275 hp car beats a 400 hp car, with the weight difference of maybe 400 pounds and 1 less gear for the lighter car.

Have you ever been to the track before? I highly doubt it, since you think that on the street you keeping up with faster cars means that you SHOULD run the same times on the drag strip. Were your races roll races?
First off searches don't take 3 seconds! I had to actually go into threads and read them.

I don't know if I have drag springs, I'll have to look. They as well as 90% of my mods came with the car.

I didn't know you were referring to the cadillac when you spoke of the 400hp car. Maybe some descriptives with your responses would actually clue people in to the actual intent of your post! And a street race from a dig, with a stop light is not exactly the same as dragging at the strip, but it's pretty close. Both have lights, both people know they are racing, both are preparing to launch, and finally both are going from a complete stop. Not much of a difference if you ask me!

And as for going to the track....I've already posted vids of me at the track with my older cars jackass! Plus I was talking about running a 0.00 RT. I guess I was referring to running that on the street

I have probably upwards of about 50 slips from all the times I've been at the track. So I have a decent amount of track time. I used to work at Steeda, and wrote some articles for their magazine they used to have. But yeah, you happen to be an expert on all cars, and outcomes on all races!

This comment alone shows how much you actually know about cars! Are you actually insinuating that a "Chip" is inferior to a programmer tune? Are you aware that you can have a custom chip done that is specifically to your application, and can be dyno tuned! A chip with a custom program is no different than a custom tune on a programmer!

That's called a programmed PCM, not just a "chip." A chip refers to something you just plug in and automatically gives you power with your stock tuned PCM. A programmed PCM is a computer that is fully tuned for your mods specifically and put in to replace your factory tunedPCM. It's just like going to a tuner and having them tune it. Call it a tuned PCM if that's what it is, instead of a "chip." And I remember a kill story you had a while back that you said, your aluminum flywheel makes a big enough difference for you to put 6 cars on a GT coupe with intake and exhaust up to 100mph. That was the only modification you had on him, and it was enough for a convertable to put 6 lengths on a coupe. Not happening.

Maybe you should refrain from your dumb comments before telling me to get my facts straight. I know exactly what I'm talking about. Even the Mustang guys in here agree that you're not pulling a low 13.

lol. That guy has 4.10's and DR's. You have your stock gears. That's the difference. Get some gears and we'll believe that you'll pull a low 13. Until then quit making these stupid comments until you have proof to back them up. Show us some vids and slips of your low 13 runs.

Then the whole 'hey my cheaper car kept up with your more expensive car' thing irritates me, because that can always be used on the person that originally uses that claim. Look at what those mods are exactly. A 4.10+DRs will do a lot more than some exhaust and a CAI. What I told that guy didn't seem too farfetched like you are making this out to be, as others on that thread agreed with what I said. BTW, you misread the OP on that thread. It wasn't a Mach 1, but a new S197 GT. I GUESS ITS HARD TO READ LOL!

actually i do know a guy that had a 4.6 2v with bolt ons and it ran 12.77 in the quarter but you guys are right when u say its def not the norm
