Oh, and then what about on say 100-125hp of spray? (He has it, but is scared to pop another intake)....I am on him to spray me though..
is he still running the stock plastic intake? a friend of mine had a '98 GT and swapped the PI heads/cams/intake and ran nitrous and he had problems with the stock plastic intake. he bought an aftermarket aluminum piece and didn't have a problem after that. and i'd say with the spray, he'd be putting down upper to mid 12s, depending on how good his "driver mod" is.
I only put down 340 on a Mustang....but another guy I know who has repeatedly put down over 400 on other dynos only put down 350 on this particular dyno...so it ran way low for sure. I would guess I am in the 380hp or so range on most dynos. I havent been to the track since the headers and cam, so I dont have any real world facts yet..
420-430 usually means at least a minor port job on LS1s. You can get over 400 with a ***** cam, but on the street that same cam will get beat on by smaller ones probably. Power under the curve...ya know?..

There is a guy local to me with an 01 SS, and he's putting down 436 with just a cam so he says, hmmmm............
