nice car man.. i've always liked the look of the SS (the z28 not so much). that thing rides pretty high though.. is that the stock ride height? i've seen a few around town here that sit lower to the ground, looks better IMO. what kind of power do those things put out stock?

yeah it's not as bad as the GT... i swear my car looked like it was made for some offroad action before i lowered it. i was thinking the SS came from the factory with more power than that. the GT only puts out about 1 hp-per-liter less than the SS, too bad Ford didn't go with a larger engine than the 4.6. what are the engine differences between the Z28 and the SS?

Nothing motor wise. Its the hood, spoiler, badges, some minor suspension stuff, and a power steering cooler (go figure)...oh and 275s all around. They figure the "ramair" gives the extra power. It is very functional.

if i still had my 2V, there wouldnt be too much i could do to take down a full exhaust LS1 (thats about the least modded Ls1's around here) i have seen quite a few 380 ish rwhp GT's get taken down or held by full exhaust LS1's.... Pretty much if you want to take out LS1's consistantly, i would do a forged motor with a procharger. No amount of bolt ons will help without some kind of FI
