Stock for stock, an SN95 4v will not consistantly beat an LT1. They are a drivers race and I've heard of more LT1's in the 13's stock than SN95 Cobras.
I would have to say that a 96-98 cobra is going to have a sight edge stock for stock. 13.9>14.2[&:]Btw one of my criusin buddies ran a 13.7 in his stock 98 cobrathis last fall.

doesnt justify his 'toolness' but come on,, wouldnt you be kind of shocked if you were in his shoes, and the other driver had just told you he was making 205 hp to the wheels max? lol
no i believe i was totally honest. the way he said it was the way i told it. he didn't ask if my car was all stock, if so i would of told him bout my motor right away. like i said i was gonna tell him before i even asked him to run, but after he acted the way he did i didn't bother myself. if i was in his shoes i would of been smart enough for word my question better than he did
You still didn't tell him about the gears or the tune though.
because gears don't have anything to do with the motor, and honestly i forgot all about the tune lol. i normally see early sn95 4v's beating LT1's, and PI 2v running even, usually a little behind the LT1's. they are all close but i think
cobra>LT1>PI 2v (not saying they beat each other by a lot, they all are pretty close, depends on driver IMO)
with all equal drivers and such from a dig. from the roll the 4v will walk both though.

I don't know why it's still an issue. lol

None of the 3 consistently hit 13's.

BUT we all know that in a rare instance, a 13.8-14.0 will creep out of low 14 averages.

Roll races are a differnet story. 2V GT FTW ........*cough*

It's not rare to see an LT1 that's been taken care of run 13's stock. Most of the ones people see at the track have very high miles and have been run ragged. Even a 2.73 geared auto LT1has the ability torun 13's. And from a roll, the 4v *should* take both the LT1 and 2v. Low power is the LT1's advantage on both cars. 325lbft@2400 rpm stock really plays into the LT1's favor, cosidering, both 2v's and 4v's don't make that much torque and they also don't make peak torque until 3500rpm for 2v and 4800rpm for the 4v.

Ohh no.... Not the cruising buddies. Not that I am doubting you, but it is way too easy to use anintangible outside resource to make a point. For arguments sake, this guy could not even exist. Now if you were to say "Last fall I watched one of my cruising buddies run a 13.7 in his stock 98 Cobra this fall" that would hold a little more credibility.

I'm not flaming, I'm just tired of people using outside resources to make points, that no one can verify.
