whats with the vtec?

The main selling point of those cars are there economy (excluding certain ones like the S2000,etc). Also, with a big cam you pretty much have to chose between top endor low end power. You can't have both unforntunately.

VTEC (Honda)= VVTI (toyota)= ECOTEC (GM)= Duratec (Ford).. all it is, is a type of valve timing, having certain valves open up at certain times...
Their "VTEC kicks in" when the car realizes it needs more power and they go from 100fwhp to 140fwhp.. it just feels like a lot, lol... It's like going from really ****ty to just slow.
