they are good cars for the money. Sure they got a few flaws like the tranny and clutch, but hey, its a -30K car/mazda. Everything else is good. Every car has flaws, but the MS6 is good all around.

look. let me show you. For under 30K, what car offers:

Sunroof, leather, 6spd, 6cd changer, AWD, 4banger MPG/EPA (25 hw, 19city),one of the bestmid-low torque you can get for day-to-day driving,good handling, HIDs, foglights, heat seats, electric driver seat, climacontrol, buttons on the steering wheel to control radio, Sat radio, nav (mine doesnt have it, but it could), leather wrapped steering wheel, 18 inch wheels, 4 doors (some dont like it, but comfortability wise), 5 seats, 274hp/280tq.

bad things:
long throw shifter &annoying clutch, 3565lbs of weight. Once you get used to that and learn how to drive the car, it comes down to being a great all around car as you can see. I got all the above features (minus the nav) for 27K out the door. 29K miles and not a problem so far.

Yeah, they're no doubt neat little cars, but I'd still prefer the Legacy GT. I kinda have a thing for the LGT's. The G35's are pretty sweet, too....

the legacy is a nice car. is the closest thing that comes to the MS6 as far as similarity. I wouldve picked either one. The deciding factor was the price. Subaru dealer would not drop the sticker on the LGT less than 30K while the Mazda dropped the MS6's to 27K.
