i've only raced the Z version of the C5, so i had my *** handed to me fairly handily....but since its just an LS1 in the other i dont see a reason a geared/ modded could keep up through third up to about 10-110....then the .28 aero vs .32-.33 aero comes to play

pulled upside looked like maybe 04-07 vette @ 60 mph dropped into 3rd and we both got on it, l stayed side by side with him all the way thru 3rd when we both shut down - he probably just couldn't drive right?

well looks like im about to stop using my mach source....and do the research on my own....reguardless there is one thing that can overcome drag.....torque FTMFW

there i found a good list
another thing i found out from asking my aerospace PHD dad that is just as important is the amount of surface area affected by the drag. from what i understand if car A had a cd of .26 but was 8ft wide...that car will possibly be slower than Car B with a cd of .3x with a width of 4 ft
