Did you just paint the stock rims black?[8D]

The Fiancee did... I didn't have a need for any expensive rims and the stockers are pretty light.

I think it'll hit 12s......if you hire Evan Smith to drive it.

All kidding aside, the mod sounds like it works, and I think you said you've gotten a best of 13.10 out of it.......so maybe.

Except sometimes dropping a car causes some extra wheel-spin due to the lack of weight transfer. May be trickier to launch now, so start practicing........

P.S. The car looks MUCH better dropped.
Thanks (by the way I see you are now an S&S *****... haha..welcome!)..

I am hoping that the lid/fra does some good but I am worried about the weight transfer (I've already noticed it's harder to hook up in first on the street...)..Of course with the handling difference I am not regretting the switch.

I think the drop ended up being 2 inches..

I think you can get into the 12's. Did you end up getting a new clutch yet? Also,I didn't realize the 1LE springs were that much lower than stockers. Where'd you find them, and for how much, if you don't mind me asking? I want lowering springs, but don't feel like paying around $200, or more for some. And I'm not sure how light the stock 5stars are. But, you should try picking up some ZR1's. I was amazed at how light these things are. They look like they'd be extremely heavy, but are probably the lightest rims I've ever picked up.
