Funny I seem to recall helping build a 95 that had a STOCK cam, GT40 heads and intake, 4:30 gear on a dr and it went 11.8's. Granted th ecar was not "full weight" but it was not gutted, still had stock seats, power windows, power steering etc.

I don't agree an H/C/I setup will net 11's. The vid I posted is a guy with a HCI setup, fully bolted on, dyno tuned with a 125 shot. He has DR's, and a stall, which he can launch pretty good. He's only netting 12.7 1/4 mile.

Well look up the name Troy Carter in NMRA Factory Stock, I helped put one of his older cars together.My point is that just because your buddies H/C/I on a 125 shot is slow does not mean that everyone with a combo like his will be slow. I mean really man, if I built a car with H/C/I and it ran a 12.7 on 125 shot I would burn it and give up on cars altogether. Look at Sidewayz's 88 GT, it went 12.9x @ 106 on it's first real outing, that's no spray and full weight (except back seats). Some people on here need to get out and learn what combos work in the real world instead of listening to all the internet racers.

there is a diffence between internet combo's and ones that work....MOST people dont understand that the stock iron cars CAn perform as good if not better than a fully worked car. ex.1 JD sn95 ex #2 302 gt40p's f303 1.6 rockers, LT, and 4.56's took a local guy here into the mid-low 7's on horrible stock tires also SN95.
