Seriously, I admit to you guys that I was speeding, but I do have enough sense to always plead not guilty. I'm prolly going to lawyer up. By the time I take a day off work, I would've of already lost money anyway. Plus, I really can't risk losing in court and getting points, increased insurance, etc.

With that said, I appreciate all the advice you guys have given. All of it seems like good solutions and I will definetely take it into consideration.

 

A judge that I dealt with for a while was known to be a "hanging judge". He frequently double fines and suspensions and denied traffic school for most anyone who contested a citation. Right or wrong, it was always entertaining.

The great majority of people who contested citations in front of the judge were cited for 100+ or truck drivers.
