My STOCK LT1 with only exhaust was in the high 13's on a 95 degree day. I'm not seeing this race at all. Maybe he was messing with you. If I had that vette and you rolled up on me, I'd play with the throttle to mess with you. I mean it's a clean car and all, but with that power, even with your weight, I'm not seeing it.
its getting frustrating posting on here when nobody listens. The quarter mile time i posted was with a 2.7 60' on a slipping clutch and no launch for god sakes! He was certainly not messing around. i wish one of you guys were in my area so i could educate you on what my car can really do.

WHAT? HE PULLS ON LS1 CAMAROS?!?!? IT MUST BE BS.

Another possible explanation was the driver of the C5 was short shifting, and while you two were close, he was still not in his power band....once he got there, he just shot out a few cars and then shifted and fell back to turd status.

look, here is a perfect video for you guys to watch: http://youtube.com/watch?v=lzv9x_09YZA

the legacy has the same mods as me except hes in AZ which means hes running worse gas so i would have a slight advantage. But yea the legacy races a bunch of LSX videos including an LS1 Trans Am. Fast forward the video to 2:00 and you will see exactly what my car does to an LS1 trans am/camaro

its funny u posted this link urself pay very close attention 2 that last race . with the ls1 with a lid and see he pulls on the legacy several times but the boost at peak rpm from the legacy hold him back barley a pair of lt headers and exaust and hes toast.

Even in hot weather, a car that traps 102 mph may not be able to get it done against an LS1 Corvette. A few years ago my car trapped 102-103 in 90* air with just a airbox lid.

I'm over in Austin. If you know of any gatherings, track meets, etc give me a heads up. I'd love to check out your car.

ok but either way the legacy beat a stock LS1 and rather easily in the 2nd race. but i honestly dont know if the headers and exhaust would be enough because look at the first race of the video: legacy vs ls1 gto. the gto had lt headers and exhaust along with an intake, manifold, throttle body, tune, 4k stall, and drag radials and it only beat the legacy by a 1-1.5 cars

05LGT,

awd cars are great, but peak hp doesn't mean **** if all the power falls off after X rpm...power under curve is what is important how long are you holding that peak #.

do you have your dyno sheet?
