I can't see spending $200+ on a part that does NOTHING! I have the ricer plate because it was $15.

It doesn't do "nothing." The rice plate isn't going to hold much more than 20 psi. If it does, it won't for long.

When you're running higher boost or a bigger turbo and a good amount of boost...you're going to need a BOV.

 

No, no, I understand that. I couldn't see doing it to a stock turbo. When I upgrade, I'll get a TurboXS BOV. But I had TONS of people telling me I should get a BOV when I first bought my car. All for the sound. I'm not spending $200+ on "sound".
