I could have not stated it any better. In the other hand i always wondered why those 2v sound sexier than the 3V ???? Anyone knows this answer

Lets compare: SC........or.........NA.......? If you're going to compare, compare on a level playing field. In other words, compare apples to apples, not apples to oranges. and again, SC vs NA,while were at how bout weight to weight?

I think you are asking for punishment here.. a little masochistic eh? when you mentioned later you were talking 4vs that still doesn't make up for the 99-02 models.. I think a lot of older gen guys just feel like they have to justify why they don't have an 05+... luckily you did it for us when you admitted you can't afford one.

+1 on a low mileage 04 termi costs more than an 08 GT.. dunno how this even got brought up in this thread other than the fact that 35thanni99gt was just disappointed with his 2v..

wrx with enough mods can beat a lightly modded 05GT or even 99-04gt.. no shame.. stock sti should be a close match to the cai/tune 05gt.. might be beaten by the driver mod or the sti had mods.

get some kooks LT headers, UD pulleys, spydershaft, 4.10s and sticky tires and ask them for a re-match.. you'll smoke them, no problem

ditto...I don't think the wrx beat me that badly considering by the time he hit 80 looked like he hit a brick wall,I could hear him shifting to whatever gear and the power stalling somewhat like hitting overdrive-the same witht he STI lol.

The GT was still pulling though we both let off by then during both races...

(-:

the only thing I really don't like about the auto is that when launching (power braking 2k) it still doesn't get into the power band fast enough and too much gas just spins the tires loose..pretty sure a converter/gears will take care of all that!~ the shifting speed though is pretty sweet, barks the tires every gear...

have yet to race a new edge GT but for some reason I think they are faster then my 08 GT/CS..I have had a few downshift on me when I was cruising, not sure if they had 4.10s or what but they looked quicker then a bat outta hell lol.

There not faster than a s197, I raced my buddies 99 cobra from a 35 roll to about 80 or 90 and I stuck to his door panel the whole way. I have intake tune and exhaust, he has intake, exhaust and 4.10's.

I can guarantee you that my car is faster than yours, and I only have a little itty bitty 2v

I bet it is, but I also bet you have more into your car. Why does everybody turn this into a pissing contest? First we compare a blown 4v to a stock 3v and then I try to give the OP a little insight with a 3v car and 4v car with similar mods, and I get my ***** busted for it. Why don't we grow up a little and make fair comparisons like I did?
