That is a nice GTO for sure but who knows how it has been treated? There is waaaaaay more in the car than 24K.Lotta miles too.Modded cars have a very limited audience when it comes time to sell them.I'd like to drive it a couple of times,IDK about buying it though.

Thinking about what?

I don't have the time to look right now. I think the GTO was off Motor Trend. It had a slalom of 63 MPH if I remember correctly. The skid pad was somewhere around .82 lateral G's.

The GT had a slalom of 64 or 65 MPH iirc and the skidpad was .84-.85 lateral G's.

It is hard to find slalom and skid pad tests sometimes but if you search around you can find them.

I've owned both, I had a 03 Red A4 Mach 1 and I currently have a 04A4GTO.

Both cars are good overall at what they do, the GTO seems a little more grown up. But the looks of the GTO appeal to a certain few, not everyone likes the looks and I can completely understand why. But it's cool knowing I could drive for a week and not see another GTO on the road.

outside of looks the Mach seemed to be much stiffer and was much easier to get off the line, however the GTO feels stronger down low, and up high.

I never got into modding the Mach so I don't have any exp with that, but I hear they mod well. As far as modding the Ls1 in the GTO... LOVING IT Unlike the Fbody it's really easy to get to anything on the car and changing the plugs only take 30 seconds.

Best thing about the GTO is sitting at any red light... the noise that comes out of my car at idle doesn't even come close to matching the looks of the car.
