Don't know how you feel about WRXs, but I'd look at one if I was you. 4 doors, AWD and turbocharged, not to mention the Boxer motor sounds sweet.

But if it's only those two options I'd choose the SRT 4. I think they look better, and I like the feel of boosted power over NA, but that's just me.

the G8 gt's are going for a nice premium around here, the goats are cheap ls2's going for 20k w/ 30k on it, and the srt4's are arounf 13-15k heavily modded (thats a minus)

i've always like the wrx's, but they kinda make me nervous...i dont know if it's b/c i dont know jack about them or what.

Insurance on Subies is high too, keep that in mind. They are about as reliable as they come though... until you start squeezing tons of power out of them :P

the SRT4 gets 21MPG city and 26MPH highway

the M6 LS2 GTO gets 19MPH city and 27MPH highway

so don't let fuel efficiency be your crutch in this decision.

I wouldn't want my kid riding in a small *** car. The GTO would get old fast having only two doors. I know this might not be what you are looking for but what about: GP GTP, Mauarder, Impalas SS, Charger RT ( they are quick ) Taurus SHO, Bonneville SSEi, etc.

Some of those cars might be for older folks, but your got a Mach, that takes care of the bad-*** factor. A nice GP GTP can be had for $5500, it looks decent, performs decents and the 4 door mid-size car should be nice, roomy, practical and safe. No manual transmission though, but then again, you also have Mach.

Just my thoughts...

your welcome, like I said those cars probably dont interest you in the least, but those are some decent family man "hot rods."

How about an extended cab S/C Harley F150... hehe

I think this might be from area to area and/or insurance company to insurance company. When I was with progressive having my Z insured, it was 40 dollars less a month to insure an STI!
