Stage 2 WRX is usually considered turboback exhaust + tune.

 

It was just a 2.0l wrx, and at the very end of the video you see a wagon. Also, judging by the tail lights if a wagon its a 02-03wrx, the slowest of them all. 227hp.
Stage 2 is a turbo back and a cai for a ~+15hp tune.

an 04-07 sti will run 13.5 with an average joe.

 

Just a 2.0 and a wagon no less beat that 300hp LT1. So that little stage 2 wagon would beat a stock s197 then yes?

If you do a search for "camaro ss" on youtube one of the vids that comes up has a Terminator going up against a WRX (heavily modded, maybe stage 3) in a roll race. The Terminator barely beats him.

 

Stock STI's are very quick... They are much faster than stock S197's. There main competitor is the Lancer Evolution which is also very very quick.

0-100: 7.1 seconds
0-150: Less than 15 seconds.

Thats VERY quick.

 

We've also got about 25% drag loss with awd as well, the seldom RWD conversions are monsters. But in Japan they get 2.0s that rev to 8500 all day stock..

 

You do know the S197 GT's are faster than LT1's, right? Because from the way your talking, your acting as if LT1's are faster.

my stang came with 3.55 gears from the factory line up...


idk but camero lt1 vs s197 is a drivers race i think, im pretty sure of it also
