Yeah I wrote this post a long time ago...why did it come back up again. And I have no problem beating them now by the way.

If I remeber right they ran something like 14.2 at 103? or something. The 2000-2005 ones are slower but the new 06 ones are comparable to most gt's.

The new ones have 263 hp...but there really heavy and they only run like 14.8@93 in the quarter...with your mods you should have been pretty close...A 5 speed could have made the difference.

People down the road from me have 3 eclipses they are all newer ones but not the newest. They think they are the ****. I raced the 'fast' one. It's red and has some wanna-be lowenhart wheels, lowered, that's all I could tell from the outside. He was on my *** on a residential road and was turning side to side like he's in damn nascar or something. Anyway, my friend and I were going to the mall and got on I-92 and he was still on my ***. So I got next to him and he floored it. I had just got my heads put on a couple days before. So I floor it, gain on him quickly, and pass him quickly. I shut down at 115. He did a flyby when I was back down at 65. He hasn't ridden my *** since. My car is rated 260/330 stock but it's a damn tank, so it's not as fast as it could be. So much for the 'fast' one.

Lot of of you guys sure hate Eclpises.
They can be quick though my Eclpise is going to be pretty snappy once finished. 300WHP.
But i LOVE my mustang.
