That black SS/TC is a sweet car, I'd rock it.

GM must have done some amazing things with the chassis & suspension. The balt seams to be hanging with some pretty big dogs like the EVO in the handling dept. It's also not horrible looking compared to the other pocket rockets out there like the Caliber SRT-4 or the WRX. Great little car for sure.
You must have read the March/09 edition of Motor Trend. I have it right in front of me. The turbo Cobalt SS got to 60 in 5.5 and quartered in 14.0 @ 102.5. The one tested was a yellow 4-door. Soldier these are not cars to be taken lightly especially from a roll. I figure you're faster than me for sure but one went by me at full song while I was in my DD. It was impressive barking 3rd gear rubber at my window. If you can drive you should have enough to beat one in the 1/4. From a roll make sure you're in your sweet spot and expect the worst, they have very respectable low end grunt for a turbo car and make power from damn near idle. I hate front drivers but this thing really is a winning combination that can't be underestimated...

That's close to the Newer civic hatchback wieght (around 2.7K) , but it's a pretty far off from the hatchbacks you see most people modding, which are the earlier to mid 90s ones. Those wieght in at around 2000-23000lbs.

I like the little Cobalt SS/TC, but I am a bit biased towards the little turbo 4 bangers..

Drop in a K20A2 with a turbo kit, you could be around 500whp and somwhere in the 9s.

Hey thanks for the info man. If we run gonna most def be in the lowest gear that the car can handle. This is one of the reason's why I'm going with the S/C next year. Gotta give much respect to the SRT-4's, Skylines, Cobalts SS's.
