thanks for all the help guys I don't think I'm gonna get one cause It'll be very rare that I can make it to the track, I'll just go and see what happens.

depends on the track......track in Lapeer Mich you have to wear a helmet even if you are in a 21 sec Smart car. Check the website for the track you plan on going to.

better to run a 1/8 hard and let off and coast IMHO, you can at least get an idea of what the 1/4 would be

try and feel them out b4 u make passes, some tracks may not give u a second chance
