It was about 8:50PM and I was out on a really long/flat road that was empty it runs parallel to the Freeway and has some really wise twists anyway I was moving pretty good and I noticed some lights that looked like they could have been Import lights the car was black and behind me so I could not tell really could have been a civic for all I knew. It was coming up towards me though pretty good I was going like 55-60ish in 5th... but in preparation for the flyby I knew was about to be attempted I dropped into 3rd and was going about 45-50MPH at like 3k RPMS.... pretty good range.... 500 more would have been better but whatever...anyway sure enough when he was 2 cars back and the road went straight he gunned it.. right as his front was at my rear bumper I did as well and I pulled about another half a car on him and we went to about 70-80. Next time around when it got straight again I did the same but I let him get right next to me as he was trying to fly by and then I gunned it.. I got a little worried since he was inching in front of me but then I hit 5.5k RPMS in 3rd gear and started pulling again I was about half a car ahead and then I shifted into 4th and pulled about a full car on him overall and then shut down. We got up to a light but I had to turn home I told him that his car moved pretty good and he said thanks and asked what year mine was so i told him and said be safe and have a good night then turned home overall really cool/fun run. Oh an the 350Z was like 07-08 not sure exactly which.
