I raced a LS1 Firbird pretty recently too. It was a vert

He refused to do a straight up race but kept pulling up next to me and then gunning it. He also peeled out at a toll behind me. Once up at highway speed I floored it. He tried to keep but fell behind pretty good.

Do you guys know how nitrous works? 99% of them are activated via a wide open throttle switch. If he was already WOT and racing, then he most likely didn't have time to open the bottle, unless it was already opened and/or had a remote opener., which would still take some time. Bottle was already at temp via heater, which is typically wired to the main arming switch with an auto cut off. And for all that to happen, the main arming switch, which provides power to the accessories, inlcuding the WOT switch, would have had to been armed. Maybe he was just playing, idk. But it's highly unlikely that he could have only sprayed you at the end, unless he's a dumbass and has it wired to a button, like in FnF.

+1 on that. My parents live in between st pete beach and clearwater beach so I have to head over that bridge whenever I visit.
