First time at the track EVER!
Yes its my money...but my parents will still be mad at me cuz they think i need to save all the money i can for college. So if i went and just bought longtube and gears...i could possibly get grounded or sumthin.
But i talked to the shop and they said not much more then 250 for install.

Thats a really stellar price for LT install, go for it if you can.
As for it being your money......sigh...not sure what to say there. I fought tooth-and-nail with my dad over getting a Mustang/V8. He did absolutely everything the could to hinder and interfere with my process because he didnt like the idea based on assumptions and lack of knowledge. One of the big things was I was denied my loan on the first try because I was 19 with 0 credit and no co-sign. So he immediately expected me to come up off the mustang or settle for a V6......he thought V6 because like retarded import owners they instantly think the gas mileage will be horrible on the 8. When I attempted to explain Id get 20+ on the highway....he didnt want to listen.
Soooooooo long story short.....It was my money....I had to put my foot down and go about my plans without his help whether he liked it or not. And every single thing I said has come true, i've been able to easily afford it, its been a great daily driver and I just got 23 MPGs on my last tank. All in all....if its your money bro reach down and grab your ***** to make sure they are still there, then buy some LTs
. If mommy and daddy dont like it....make sure you chime in the next time they are buying something for themselves and instruct them on what to buy,how to buy it and IF they can buy it or not. They might see things from your point of view then. It aint like your a bad kid.....seems like you have a good enough head to know whether you can afford it or not.
Hell i'm 3-5 months from a KB purchase and pops don't know about it yet.....going to love hearing his response to this idea.....same old **** over again.
