Got here two days ago. Hopefully it'll be in before the end of next week. I'm just gonna run it as a 4 speed until the warranty is up on it. Anyone got some money for gas for me? [8D]

I have to use a clutch though...just a little, but still, must use it. Foot firmly on gas, tap clutch, jerk in gear.

It came with a Mcleoud Revlok clutch.
Rear end goes KAAABOOOM

It's only got 4 gears right now...the guy I bought it from had it built for a drag race only application...but he went with a TH400 instead. I was gonna add 5th and 6th to it with syncro's....so 1/4 are proshifted and 5/6 would be normal, ultimate tranny, BUT, if I open the case, I void the warranty. So I'll prob hold off and just run it as a 4 speed for a while.

Haha, I should clarify that.

Launch off idle with much slippage, granny shift to second, then foot on gas, tap clutch, slam third.

Well right now, with the sensors beign all messed up, my stall stays unlocked most of the time, so I'm constantly at 3k+ rpms....talk about loud. So I probably won't see much of a difference in gas mileage or anything. I only have 3.73's out back. When the rear end goes I'll have 4.56's fo sho.

I'm not sure about the rear end....I could check into it though, cause I'm gonna need one.

Ya check it out the rear is nice plus its very easy to change the chuck when you want. The rear end bolted right in and all the disc brakes bolted right on its a nice set up thats for sure

somebody said it up there, but, with a stock shifter, its sloppy as hell shifting gears HARD. you put a short-throw in and its lot more smoother and precise. SHORT-THROW..........shorter than stock shift which means you get it in gear faster........you multiply that by 2/3/4 depending on how many gears you go thru, thats how you lower your time. i was a guy after i got my Pro 5.0 in......first time we raced..........i was at his back tire(he has a lx notch). the night i raced him after i got my shifter.......HE WAS AT MY BACK BUMPER......and needless to say, he was sorta pissed off. but, they do lower your time. just simply cuz it doesnt take as long to shift in the next gear, and anymore, most shifters are spring-loaded so you DONT miss 3rd. i love my Pro 5.0 !!!! wouldnt trade it for the world !!!
