Yeah, its suprising to see how differently your whipple is effecting your 1/4 mile. I'm running the 3.5" pulley and am dynotuned. I am running around 97mph in the 1/8, but only picking up 23-24 mph on the big end. I wish I could pick up 28+ on the big end!

I think my big end speed is probably being effected by my gearing as I am running the stock 3.55s and am not even close to being in the high hp rpms when I go through the traps. You must be damn close to the limitor with the 4.10s and those short tires.

Yes in fact I cross the line on the limiter (6500 rpm) in 4th gear. It is geared perfectly at the moment. Anything that I do to increase power will require a shift to 5th though. At that point I'm geared too short.

I would just move up to a taller tire. I'm thinking about going 4.10s with a 28"

I have a 28.5" out back and with 4.10 gears the final ratio is 3.90. I run out of gear in 3rd right before I cross the line.

Good runs. I am a little curious though why your car has such relatively low torque with the whipple. I'd assume you should have at least the same numbers as the rwhp for the torque. The car is dyno tuned right?

I don't know. Yes the car is dyno tuned, it could be a result of the tune that's in there. I requested a conservative tune and the timing is fairly tame (max 17 degrees). I do have a 94 octane tune that has 19 degrees timing, but I've never used it and probably won't.

Anyway, I'm not disappointed with the performance at all. There's room for improvement in the 60 foot times and the speed at which I bang gears.

Oh, don't get me wrong, your car makes some sick power, I've just always seen twin screw cars make exceptional torque, so I was wondering. Being on a conservative tune could very well be the reason. Sick car though, don't think I was talking bad about it, just curious thats all.
