I wouldn't avoid jdm because of that annomaly.. I cant be sure it was them, would have to go dig up the thread again. I'm pretty sure the dyno it was on wasn't even tuned by the people running the dyno yet though so.. whoever it was i didn't see it as the tuner's fault either.

If you are really that concerned, just pull a few degrees of timing.
yea i could do that... im not so worried about det... my afr at wot is pretty safe... i could try the timing thing to kill alittle hp or im think about swapping pulleys.. i have the 10psi pulley or the 3.48"... i have the 3.40" pulley on now.... my sct can pull timing like that right?

lovin the centrifi... but if i have regret.... idk, ive never been in a car with a screw type making similar power so i cant say.... i think the only thing i sacrificed was having lower torque output.... actually ive thought more that i should have just went with a 70mm turbo kit..... thanx for the imput about jdm.... looks like ill go another route with anew motor...

You should check out Sansone Ford, I'm sure it's $$$ but they do awesome work. They've built some nasty cars!

sansone is a dealership though... they would build a block? you guys really think JDM's workmanship is crap? im not lookin to get tuned by them, just need them to build a 289 block and rotating assembly capable of handing 700bhp... i would be pullin the motor and transplanting myself

Absolutely.

I would just add 3-4 gallons of 100 unleaded and call it good. You'll be fine.
