If I had to downgrade to a 4 banger, I would choose teh SRT-4. They sound pretty nasty for being a 4 gerbil.

if price was an issue...i would look into the SRT4...but only because of the price..having worked for dodge, ive seen the problems that they have...and if youve not ridden in an SRT4...youve only seen the good sides of it...the interior is very cheap for a 22,000 car. manual windows...manual seats...a mediocre sound system, for which they charge a bunch extra. just about everyone with an SRT4 who drives it hard has had the shift **** FALL off...its great that with dealership sold parts, the car will run 12s, but it is still a 9,000 neon with an engine swap, 4 wheel disc brakes, and a body kit...i have been very near to buying one twice, once a stage 1, once a stock model...for the money, i would spend a little extra and hunt around for an previous model year evo...there is alot more performance support, and AWD...
not to mention that the neon, and with it the SRT4, are coming to an end after 2006...and if you want anything "SRT4"..it has to be the AWFUL caliber...a damn station wagon..as if the "charger" family sedan wasnt bad enough.
and when youre reading this, keep in mind, im dodge biased...and im still not happy with it...

I was the one that said I'd sell my car if I won by a half a car to a RX-8.....I think you might own to of the slowest Saleens made but I stll love them cause there Saleens.I just dont understand why you would have 2 slow ones and not buy one atleast thats fast.....
